"Jasmine" Another in my series that looks at diversity, women's names as flowers, and each individuals beauty. When trying to depict a native woman, I felt Jasmine, a small fragile flower best identified with the piece. Often overlooked, they hold a powerful scent, and are prized for so many uses. It is no mistake that I chose this flower to accompany this painting, and be the descriptive force behind the image.
