"Oprah" This painting is a little different from the others in my portfolio. I've long admired Oprah, and have watched her grow and develop as a performer and as a women coming into herself. As a child she grew up in the psychedelic era. I wanted to incorporate the art style of that period into the art style of this period. The lines are bold, and the colours bright. In case you are wondering, the background and her smile are dollar signs, made to look like a gold leaf effect.
